Large oversized molds were created to accommodate castings for planters or benches, dependent on function. UHPC is watertight, so the planters are able to retain soil and planted material without a liner or container within the concrete form. Oversized sustainable lumber was milled for the wood tops and fabricated by Fine Concrete, providing one assembly for installation. Fine Concrete UHPC Tables were added to the courtyard - used as game tables or work or event surfaces, the flexible program was perfect for the ever changing needs of the students.
